Andrea Bocelli
Andrea Bocelli performed on 30 June 2007 at O2 (Millennium Dome)
Andrea Bocelli, is perhaps the fourth most famous opera singer in the world
(after the three tenors), but has also achieved great success with pop ballads,
working alongside artists such as Celine Dion, Sarah Brightman and Zucchero. His
big break came when he recorded a track co-written with Bono - Miserere - with
Luciano Pavarotti. Andrea Bocelli will be gracing the stage at The O2 arena for
the venue’s inaugural classical gala.
Bocelli was accompanied by the legendary soprano, Dame Kiri Te Kanawa with flute
virtuosos, Sir James Galway and Lady Jeanne Galway.
